Job Responsibilities: • Manage & perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft in accordance with the Boeing 737 Maintenance Manual assuring aircraft is available for customer flight missions 24/7/365 • Responsible to the Oil Spill Response Manager for all maintenance activities at base as well as keeping the Oil Spill Response Manager regularly updated on those activities • Respond to 3 hour call-out requirements per customer contract • Ensure personnel are following policies and procedures, and performing duties in accordance with the GMM & train new mechanics on day-to-day operations • Ensure the safety and serviceability of all aerospace ground support equipment including scheduled maintenance • Provide leadership and daily problem solving to direct reports, ensuring they have clear understanding of the project they are working on and remain on task; create the weekly schedule and ensure personnel availability • Oversee parts inventory to include ordering parts needed for upcoming maintenance and performing regular 30-day inventory checks • Act as customer service representative with tasks as requested by management/pilots, assist pilots with aircraft launch and recovery • Communicate critical information to company headquarters, establish relationship with FBO and other service providers • Responsible for emailing aircraft status, completed maintenance paperwork, and activities via email to applicable distribution list provided by management. • Adhere to all hazmat requirements per base guidelines to include training all new hire mechanics on hazmat guidelines and scheduling regular waste oil pick-up in collaboration with the local FBO as needed • Ensure base needs are communicated to the appropriate manager, including: hiring needs, tooling, training, materials pertinent to operations, etc. • Communicate quality needs with the Director of Quality (DOQ) and Oil Spill Response Manager to ensure quality of maintenance is kept at an acceptable level • Maintain familiarity with operating manuals, FAA regulations and standards, aircraft maintenance manuals, company policies, and procedures • Work closely with Maintenance Control on technical issues • Responsible for preparation and performance to departmental budgets. • Responsible for completing expense reports in a timely manner < 14 days • Assist the Oil Spill Response Manager as needed • Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: • High school diploma or GED required • FAA A&P certificate required • Minimum of 5 years aircraft experience of Boeing 737 or like series aircraft experience required • Avionics/electrical knowledge preferred • Prior aviation maintenance management experience preferred • Ability to lead a group of mechanics and build relationships to complete projects in a given timeframe • Ability to multitask well in a fast-paced work environment • Valid US Passport • Willing and able to be on call evenings and weekends as needed • Good teamwork, strong initiative, communication, problem solving, customer service and decision-making skills • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook, MyBoeingFleet, and other company software (e.g. Dayforce, Chrome River, Deem) • Live within 30 minutes of Moses Lake (to respond to 3-hr call-out requirements per customer contract) • Ability to travel away from home location for 30 days based on customer needs (longer if needed) if activated for an oil spill • Ability to: • Crawl in and out of tight spaces • Comfortably work at elevated heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods of time • Lift, balance and carry 75 lbs. • Work in enclosed hangars and exterior weather conditions • Work in austere and confined conditions • Will need to operate the spray system from the jump seat for extended periods of time • Be able to operate the 737 spray system DA1 It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
