Business Development Director

**Position:** Business Development Director

**Reports to:** Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

**Primary Purpose:** Conceptualize and articulate the corporate vision for optimizing aviation and non-aviation business

growth, and formulate and implement a comprehensive, aligned business development strategy.

The Business Development Director is key to sustaining a corporate culture that promotes efficiency and teamwork at

every level of the organization.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**

1. Direct the planning, development, and execution (with Management) of short- and long-term business development

strategies to maintain and increase new business in:

- Maximising passenger utilization of GAIA concessions and other terminal services

- Diversification of revenue streams and concession products

- Air cargo, parking lots, and other space utilisation

- Aviation and non-aviation related commercial & industrial property leasing

2. Exercise primary responsibility for assisting the organization in realizing its commercial strategic objectives.

3. Conceptualize, manage, and execute business development plans and programmes to meet strategic objectives.

4. Exercise oversight over all commercial contracts, associated developments, and related resources.

**Qualifications**

**Option 1:** Master’s in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing **and** ≥ 4 years’ experience in a similar

role

**Option 2:** BSc in Management, Business Administration, or Marketing **and** ≥ 7 years’ experience in a similar role
