Aircraft Structures Mechanic

*Job Summary*

Veterans Alliance is hiring an experienced Structures Mechanic for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Meridianville, Alabama, supporting heavy maintenance and aircraft modifications across a variety of platforms. This is a great opportunity for technicians with 5 or more years of hands-on structural experience to join a high-performing team with long-term potential.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform structural repairs, modifications, and heavy maintenance on various aircraft platforms

* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and repair manuals

* Drill, rivet, and install structural components and assemblies using standard aircraft techniques

* Use sheet metal tools, jigs, and fixtures to perform precision repairs and installations

* Ensure all work meets FAA, customer, and company quality standards

* Maintain detailed documentation of completed tasks

* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED

* *Minimum 5 years of aircraft structural repair experience – REQUIRED*

* Experience in heavy maintenance and aircraft modification environments

* Ability to read and interpret technical data and structural repair manuals

* Authorized to work in the U.S.

* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

* Tools are preferred, but not a deal-breaker

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

* $35/hr for 10+ years of experience
