We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our *Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic* team in *Washington- Dulles Airport*!

_The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required._

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

* Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations

* Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards

* Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness

* Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments

* Must be customer service-oriented

* Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate

* Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc.

* Occasional travel may occur

* Perform other duties as they are assigned

*Requirements:*

* *Must* have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

* *Must* have 3-5 years of experience

* *Must *have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License

* *Must* be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions

* *Must* be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds

* *Must* be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening

* *Must* be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall

* A350- 900/1000

* A330- 200/300/800/900

* B787-8/9/10

* B757-200/300

* B737- NG MAX

* EMB 170/175

*Workplace environment:*

* *Schedules: Part-Time- 5 hours a day, 3-4 days per week. 07:00-12:00*

* *Full-Time- 10 hours a day, 4 days per week. 14:30-00:30*

* Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.

* Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat.

* The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
