Job Description

*Full Job Duties:*

* Conducting maintenance and repair tasks on turbine engines.

* Disassembly and re-assembly of engines.

* Repair and maintain the structural, mechanical, & electronic elements of the engine.

* Effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Reads, understand, interprets and execute maintenance manuals.

* Correctly complete paperwork for maintenance.

* Maintain an up-to-date OJT (on-the-job training) file.

* Conduct all tasks safely and efficiently.

* Must display excellent work ethics and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, promoting, and continuously improving equipment.

*Required Qualifications:*

* *Licensed A&P*

* *Experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D and/or PT6 Engines.*

* *Experience using a variety of mechanics tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment.*

* *Highly motivated and a self-starter.*

* *Work effectively with minimal supervision.*

* *US Driver’s License*

* *Us work authorization*

*Preferred Qualifications, Experience, knowledge and Skills:*

* Military background in aviation, mechanical, or engines

* Honeywell TFE731 , Rolls Royce 250 or any other turbine engine.

* Ability to frequently stand, walk, and continually utilize hand & finger dexterity.

* Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.

* Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.

*Summary*

As an Aviation A&P Mechanic you will be essential in maintaining and repairing engines to ensure safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
