Avionics technician

*Job Description*: We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to support our clients in the aerospace and defense industries. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of complex avionics systems across various aircraft platforms. Frequent travel to client sites and hangars nationwide is required. *Responsibilities*: Install, inspect, and repair avionics equipment and systems (e.g., communication, navigation, radar, and flight control systems) Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Perform system checks and functional tests using specialized equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and electrical malfunctions Document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA regulations Work in coordination with engineers, supervisors, and flight line crews Travel to multiple sites as assigned (travel expenses/per diem provided) *Qualifications*: 2+ years of hands-on experience in avionics maintenance or modification FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred Experience with commercial, military, or corporate aircraft Ability to read and interpret technical data and wiring schematics Familiarity with FAA regulations and quality standards Must be willing and able to travel frequently (up to 75% travel) Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset *Preferred Experience*: Experience with aircraft platforms such as Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, or military aircraft Previous field service or contract work in avionics Knowledge of troubleshooting tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, or BITE testers

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.78 - $40.00 per hour

* Day shift

* No weekends
