Job Description
*Duties:*
* We are seeking an Avionics Tech with experience in the removal, installation, troubleshooting and testing of all types of Avionics systems.
* Avionics Technicians will be performing testing, troubleshooting and repair on various avionics systems on primarily GA aircraft.
*Required Experience:*
* 4 years recent avionics experience.
* Wire repair knowledge
* Multimeter/Megohmmeter, Pitot/Static test equipment, Transponder test equipment.
* Reading schematics, and building wire harnesses in accordance with schematics.
* Building Coax cables.
* Soldering switches, pins, posts, etc.
*Preferred* *Experience*:
· Garmin installation and troubleshooting experience.
· Previously held Repairman’s certification, A&P license, VII level (military), or CDQAR (military).
· GA and Corporate aircraft experience
· FLIR experience.
*Essential Job Functions:*
* Repair and maintain communication, navigation, GPS, FMS, WX Radar and other avionics related systems.
* Perform troubleshooting of all systems installed on the aircraft.
* Remove existing avionics and install new avionics components and systems, including planning, engineering, installation, configuration and final testing.
* Perform all aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
* Accurately document all work performed.
* Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
* Perform other tasks assigned.
* Some occasional travel may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
