Job Description

Flight Director Instrument Repair Technician in Carrollton, TX 75006

Pay:

$33/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting both mechanical and electronic and repairing various aviation instruments, focusing on gyros, altimeters, and flight directors

Perform inspections and functional tests on instruments to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications

Worth with engineers and other technicians to address issues and ensure safe operations of instruments

Maintain accurate records of repairs and services preformed

Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to avionics repair

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Previous experience in repairing gyros, altimeters, and flight director systems in aviation

Certification or training in avionics or aircraft instrument repair (preferred)

Strong knowledge of avionics systems, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques

Attention to detail and commitment to high- quality standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem solving and communication skills
