Avionics Technician (2nd Shift)

*Job Summary*

Veterans Alliance is actively seeking an experienced Avionics Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, supporting rotary-wing aircraft in a maintenance environment. This position is ideal for technicians with strong avionics skills, a valid A&P license, and the flexibility to work 2nd shift.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics systems on rotary-wing aircraft

* Route, terminate, and secure wire bundles, conductors, and avionics hardware

* Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and OEM documentation

* Conduct operational checks and verify system functionality post-installation

* Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with FAA and company standards

* Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements

* Collaborate with maintenance and QA teams to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED

* *Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – REQUIRED*

* Minimum 5 years of avionics maintenance experience – REQUIRED

* Rotary-wing aircraft experience in a maintenance environment – REQUIRED

* Must be able to work 2nd shift

* Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation

* Authorized to work in the U.S.

* Must pass background check and drug screening
