Hotel Room Attendant/Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and inviting, contributing to a positive guest experience. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in a hotel environment.

*Responsibilities*

* Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.

* Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.

* Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.

* Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks as needed.

* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.

* Assist in deep cleaning projects as required, including industrial cleaning tasks.

* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when reordering is necessary.

* Uphold the highest levels of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during encounters.

*Skills*

* Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.

* Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.

* Familiarity with housekeeping management practices to ensure efficient workflow.

* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

* Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
