Hotel Breakfast Attendant (Part Time Weekends)

Overview:

Duties:

- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area in a clean and organized manner

- Prepare and serve breakfast items to guests in accordance with established standards

- Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing any inquiries or special requests

- Ensure food items are fresh, properly labeled, and adhere to dietary restrictions when necessary

- Monitor and replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout service hours

- Assist in kitchen duties such as food preparation, coffee brewing, and basic food handling tasks

- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations

- Collaborate with other hotel staff to provide seamless service to guests

Requirements:

- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred

- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus

- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele

- Familiarity with basic knife skills for simple food preparation tasks

- Understanding of food safety protocols and willingness to maintain cleanliness standards

- Experience in dietary aide responsibilities is advantageous

- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques is beneficial

- Passion for coffee preparation and service is desirable
