A&P Mechanic

*Job Summary*

Veterans Alliance is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic for a direct-hire opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role supports line and heavy maintenance operations for a diverse fleet, including Boeing 737-700/800, Airbus A319/A320, CRJ 700/900, and AOG business jets.

This is a great opportunity for a technician with airline experience who is flexible with shifts and ready to join a professional, fast-paced maintenance operation.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform line and heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft platforms

* Troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant systems in accordance with FAA standards

* Support AOG operations and light general aviation as needed

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and work orders

* Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation

* Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality assurance, and company procedures

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED

* *Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate – REQUIRED*

* *Minimum 2 years of commercial airline maintenance experience – REQUIRED*

* Experience working on B737-700/800, A319/A320, CRJ 700/900 – PREFERRED

* Willingness to support AOG and general aviation operations

* Ability to work flexible shifts

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

* Must pass a background check and drug screening

* Tools required

*Pay Rate:* $30 – $40/hr (based on experience)

*Shift Differential:* Additional $1/hr for 2nd & 3rd shift
