Take your avionics career to the next level by joining the launch team of a *brand-new, multi-billion dollar Department of Defense program*. This is a *10-year project* modernizing advanced airborne defense platforms, starting with heavily modified *Boeing 747s*. Be one of the *first 5 avionics techs* hired and work inside *state-of-the-art, climate-controlled hangars* in *Dayton, Ohio*.

*Your Responsibilities:*

* Perform *avionics modifications and installations* on commercial aircraft.

* Terminate, crimp, and connect wires to exacting military and aerospace standards.

* Conduct *operational checks*, troubleshooting, and *ring-outs* of avionics systems.

* Read and interpret *electrical schematics*, wiring diagrams, and modification drawings.

* Support test, inspection, and integration phases in a classified environment.

*What You Bring:*

* *3+ years of experience* in aircraft avionics installation, wiring, and troubleshooting.

* Proficiency with tools for wire prep, crimping, routing, and testing.

* Ability to read wiring diagrams, pinouts, and modification packages.

* Must bring your own tools (shadowed and etched preferred).

* FAA Drug Test compliance required.

* *Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance* (active clearance a plus).

* Military or special mission aircraft background is a plus—*veterans encouraged to apply*.
