A&P Line Maintenance Station Manager

STS Line Maintenance is hiring a full-time A&P Line Maintenance Station Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR). Position Summary

As the Station Manager for STS Line Maintenance in Grand Rapids, you’ll oversee all aspects of daily maintenance operations at our GRR station. This is a working management position requiring both leadership and technical expertise. You’ll coordinate technician schedules, manage compliance and safety requirements, and ensure exceptional aircraft maintenance service is delivered every day.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily line maintenance operations at GRR station

Lead, train, and mentor a team of A&P mechanics

Develop work schedules that meet operational needs without excessive overtime

Perform hands-on line maintenance functions unsupervised

Ensure compliance with company and air carrier procedures, GMMs, and AMMs

Maintain proper documentation and aircraft work orders

Approve completed work and uphold quality and safety standards

Utilize Microsoft Office and preferably KRONOS timekeeping system

Coordinate with air carriers and STS management to meet performance targets

Ensure station staffing and scheduling support 24/7 operational needs

Required Qualifications

FAA A&P License required

Minimum 5 years of line maintenance experience

At least 3 years of management or leadership experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; KRONOS experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Ability to pass background checks and obtain all necessary airport badging

Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, technical documentation, and work packages

Must own a complete set of hand tools

Capable of working night/day shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces

Comfortable working in varying climate conditions and moderate noise levels

Rate of Pay

$80,000 – $85,000 annually based on experience
