Experimental Ops Technician

*Job Summary*

Veterans Alliance is seeking a highly experienced Experimental Ops Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, supporting OEM and tilt-rotor aircraft operations. This role involves hands-on work in completions, assembly, mechanical, and structural operations on experimental and development aircraft.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of aviation experience and be willing to work across multiple shifts and travel for off-site testing.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform mechanical and structural assembly and modifications on tilt-rotor aircraft

* Support experimental and development aircraft operations in a fast-paced OEM environment

* Install, adjust, and repair mechanical components and systems during aircraft build-up

* Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and OEM technical data

* Participate in off-site aircraft testing activities as needed

* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards

* Collaborate with engineering, QA, and production teams on experimental program objectives

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED

* *Minimum 8+ years of aviation maintenance and assembly experience – REQUIRED*

* A&P License – Preferred

* Experience with tilt-rotor aircraft – Preferred

* Prior work on experimental or development aircraft – Preferred

* Skilled in both mechanical and structural aircraft systems

* Must be able to work any assigned shift (Days, Swing, Nights)

* Must be willing and able to travel for off-site aircraft testing

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

* Must pass background check and drug screening
