Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

*Job Summary*

Veterans Alliance is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector for a 12-month contract assignment supporting fixed-wing aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment. This is a great opportunity for qualified inspectors with a strong foundation in FAA-regulated or military aviation maintenance programs.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have a minimum of 3 years of aircraft inspection experience under FAR Part 145, 121, 135, or equivalent military standards.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components

* Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and internal quality standards

* Verify proper documentation of maintenance tasks in accordance with FAR requirements

* Identify and report discrepancies or non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are performed

* Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to maintain schedule and safety standards

* Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or GED

* *Valid FAA A&P Certificate – REQUIRED*

* Minimum 3 years of experience performing aircraft inspections under:

* FAR Part 145, 121, 135 or

* Equivalent military aviation experience

* Solid understanding of aviation maintenance documentation and inspection protocols

* Experience with fixed-wing aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screening

* Strong attention to detail, safety-oriented mindset, and excellent documentation skills
