*AimHire is partnering with a global leader in airport ground support equipment services to hire a skilled Traveling GSE Mechanic to support shop locations across Alaska.* This is an exciting opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems—while getting to explore the great state of Alaska.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Diagnose and repair GSE systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC

* Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections

* Interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams

* Follow aviation safety protocols: FOD Prevention, Tool Control, and Parts Accountability

* Interact professionally with customers and teammates

* Maintain a clean, organized work environment

*What We’re Looking For:*

* Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment)

* Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

* Basic computer skills and ability to interpret technical documents

* Must have your own hand tools

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

* Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs

* No travel restrictions and willingness to be on the road throughout Alaska
