Aircraft Mechanic/Assembler II

*Job Description*

Perform assembly, installation, maintenance, layout, repair or modification operations necessary to fabricate, join or otherwise manufacture aircraft lots, line and major assemblies, section and complete aircraft. This includes a variety of structural assembly and riveting operations involving details, sheet metal parts, extrusions, castings and forgings in the fabrication of minor, sub and major assemblies and components. Perform other duties as required.

*Qualifications*

* 0-2 years of experience

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Ability to lift, carry and handle objects weighing 25-30 pounds

* Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position

The salary range for this position is : $39,000-$75,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
