*Job Summary*

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic) you will play a pivotal role in performing maintenance, repair, and inspection activities. You will be a part of a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.

*Responsibilities*

* Technical Contribution

* Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft being serviced.

* Oversee and actively participate in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.

* Team Involvement:

* Assist in leading a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.

* Coordinate work schedules and assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks.

* Compliance and Documentation:

* Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all maintenance actions.

* Quality Assurance:

* Apply a rigorous quality assurance program for all aircraft maintenance activities.

* Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards.

* Communication:

* Collaborate with other departments, including operations and logistics, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize aircraft downtime.

* Provide regular updates on maintenance status and any potential issues to relevant stakeholders.

* Training and Development:

* Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the maintenance team.

* Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.

Expectations:

* Be on time

* Be respectful of coworkers and clients

* Communicate needed time off at least 2 weeks in advance

* Clean and return all tools after use

* If you don’t know the answer to a question, look it up and ask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

* 8 hour shift

* Day shift

* Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

* Corpus Christi, TX 78406 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

* Corpus Christi, TX 78406: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
