Aircraft Mechanic

*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on various aircraft systems and components.

* Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to ensure accurate measurements and adjustments.

* Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical issues.

* Execute repairs using hand tools and welding techniques as needed.

* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

* Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and guidelines.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field is required.

* Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.

* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

* Must be able to pass a drug test before employment, as well as random ones.

* Must be able to pass a background check.

* Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
