Aircraft Paint Technician (2nd shift)

Elliott Aviation, a leader in aircraft solutions, has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Painter- 2nd shift (2PM to 12:30AM) at their location in Moline, IL. This hands-on position is responsible for assisting in all phases of aircraft painting while maintaining compliance with all safety, company, federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Applies sealer, and masks the aircraft using tapes and paper products (to protect windows, seals, struts, cables, etc.) in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes

Cleaning and sanding in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes

Applies etch and anti-corrosion coating to aircraft and rinsing

Applies paint to the aircraft interior and exterior surfaces

Polishing and detailing exterior paint

Fabricate stencils, mix paints, layout and apply stripes, layout and apply insignias

Other duties as assigned.

Excellent workmanship aptitude and a desire to initiate improvements

Other requirements include:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements

Experience in auto or aircraft painting preferred

Pay Range: $20 - $45/HR (Experience Based)
