Primary Job Duties We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our maintenance records team by scanning, organizing, and digitally archiving aircraft maintenance documents. The Temporary Aircraft Records Scanning technician will play a critical role in ensuring our aircraft documentation is properly digitized and stored in compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Scan paper-based aircraft maintenance records using high-speed scanners. Organize and label digital files accurately according to established naming conventions. Ensure scanned documents are legible, complete, and free of scanning errors. Perform quality checks on scanned documents to verify accuracy and integrity. Upload digital files to the company’s document management system. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documentation. Assist with filing, retrieval, or disposal of physical records as needed. Collaborate with maintenance and records teams to resolve any discrepancies. Follow FAA and company guidelines for document retention and handling. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience with scanning or records management preferred. Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance records is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working with computers, scanners, and file management systems. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be able to lift and move boxes of records (up to 50 lbs). Physical and Other Requirements Office setting within corporate office. Involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and lifting. Flexible hours discussed at interview. This is not a Department of Transportation Safety-sensitive position.

Purpose and Scope: Perform aviation maintenance administration requirements in support of the activity’s assigned aircraft, engines, ALSS, support equipment and flight designated personnel. Essential Responsibilities: Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. Perform operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping. Perform networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry. Transmit and receive data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means. Extract data, formulate and interpret management reports, create archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations. Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing database and systems analysis. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience or equivalent. Requires knowledge of computer operating software programs. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
