We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Supervisor to lead our hydraulic department and support our continued growth and customer satisfaction. *Job Summary* The Hydraulic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the hydraulic shop, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment under the technical direction of an Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic (Senior) or Lead. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required. May be required to adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems. May be required to perform aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations. Inspects and identifies aircraft corrosion for prevention and repair. May be required to perform crash recovery duties. Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification. Specialty Qualifications Knowledge. Knowledge of the principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives and data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory. Knowledge of Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures and the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations and use is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of Air Force supply procedures to look up, place orders, receive and maintain parts and materials to complete assigned work. Education. Completion of high school with courses in mathematics is desirable. Completion of a basic applicable aircraft maintenance course is mandatory. Experience. Qualification as Aircraft Worker is mandatory. A minimum of three years of performing functions, such as installing, inspecting, repairing or overhauling aircraft structures, systems, and components, is mandatory. Special Certifications and Qualifications required for position (as determined by Program Manager) Operational check, remove/replace/repair/install/components, assemble/disassemble, bench-check, service, AC powers system, DC power system, integrated drive generator (IDG), generator control unit (GCU), external power system, lighting system to include, exterior, interior, emergency, position lights, anti-collision, formation, slipway lights, taxi light. Remove install, adjust, operational check, bench-check, service the following: landing gear system, handle, control switches, arresting hook indication/canopy indication/overheat fire/master caution/fuel warning and control systems, anti-skid, brake holding, nose gear steering, secondary flight control, engine bleed air, fire extinguishing system, squibs, fire bottles, start and ignition/air conditioning/pressurization systems and liquid cooling systems. You must have held an Air Force E&E AFSC. Minimum 4 years documented experience within the last 10 years on F-16 aircraft. Must be able to travel in performance of these duties.
