*Job Overview* We are seeking Aircraft Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This position requires a strong understanding of aircraft mechanics, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. * Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and calipers. * Perform repairs on aircraft structures and systems. * Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively. * Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed. * Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized in compliance with safety protocols. *Skills* * Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to aircraft maintenance. * Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in aircraft systems repair and maintenance. * Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and calipers. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for various aircraft systems. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team. Definition: This is the entry and first working level for certificated Airframe and Powerplant technicians. Incumbents at this level work under the guidance of a Lead Technician and inspect and repair aircraft, engines, and components, and return aircraft to service. Minimum Qualifications: Possession of the following certificates: FAA Airframe & Powerplant Technician’s Certificates and a valid Class-C Driver’s License. Knowledge and Abilities: FAA federal aviation regulations pertaining to the maintenance and repair of aircraft; FAA-approved maintenance practices, techniques, and procedures; and aircraft shop maintenance operational procedures. Work under the general guidance of a lead or journey level technician and perform maintenance and repair to aircraft, engines, propellers, rotors, and components in accordance with approved procedures; learn various aircraft maintenance requirements, standards, and procedures; determine the airworthiness of airframe and engine components; inspect systems for proper operation and condition. May perform Confined Space Entry Maintenance to include aircraft fuel tank repairs. Compensation & Benefits HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $49.72 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
